“OK, aber nur für 1 Nacht”

The breakfast was excellent and generous, and the staff were extremely friendly and authentic. The room was okay but not impressive, and the price was at the very top end. The hallway in the basement that leads to the room was truly “underground” – it should be made friendlier, it was creepy.

The quiet location offers a fantastic view. Dinner at the on‑site restaurant was good, and the selection of vegan/vegetarian dishes deserves special mention. Breakfast was very good.

Unfortunately, nothing positive. We unknowingly booked a room without a private bathroom or toilet, and since we are over 70, that kind of room was unacceptable. We didn’t expect that in Switzerland hotels would still rent rooms without a private bathroom/shower and toilet!

“Charmantes Landhaus, schöne Lage, wunderbare Menschen und leckeres Essen”

The room was spotless and surprisingly roomy, though a bit noisy at times. The subtle wood scent and comfy bed made it a cozy retreat, and the hosts went above and beyond with their friendliness and helpfulness. Breakfast and dinner were both delightful, and parking right outside the house was a breeze. I’ll definitely come back to this charming country house with great people and excellent cuisine.
