The staff were very friendly, they arranged a nice guide for the pyramids, and the breakfast on request was Egyptian.

“Verschrikkelijk slecht!”

At least the air‑conditioning worked and the sheets were clean, but before the trip I kept getting WhatsApp messages to confirm the booking, then intrusive messages from the night‑watcher at night that I had to block; when we arrived at 4 am he confronted me in an impolite way about whether I still wanted the room because I hadn't replied to his other messages, and I told him I had already confirmed and the other messages were unnecessary. The accommodation was filthy, the room was far from clean, only the beds were fine. They tried to pressure us into paying everything upfront, but I had already decided to stay just one night or a few hours, and then they stood in the room and talked a lot while I was already fed up. The host and staff were very nice, helpful and professional, and the sightseeing arrangements they organized were also very good value; we really have nothing to complain about.
