Casa Lapira sits three minutes’ walk from Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta, offering air‑conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, showers, free toiletries and hair dryers. Each suite features a fully equipped kitchenette for self‑catering. Guests enjoy complimentary Wi‑Fi and an on‑site restaurant serving Mediterranean and local dishes. The University of Malta campus lies 350 m away, and Malta International Airport is 10 km distant.

The room met all of our expectations for a room for a historic building. In addition, it was larger than we expected and the kitchen had all we needed to prepare meals and morning coffee. Numerous outlets was a surprise given our recent experience in Italy. The location was great and their restaurant more than met our expectations. Remember to tell them you are staying at the Casa. We had an airline baggage issue and the only entity that helped in anyway was the owner and staff at Casa Lapira. My only photo out our window was taken the last night. Lame & dark is my fault. Look out the windows earlier for interesting views. We have no complaints. UNESCO buildings and areas are not 5-star luxury facilities, especially in bombed out and restored cities like Valletta

This place offers excellent value, especially because of its incredibly convenient location, and the staff are very helpful—smooth check‑in, useful info, and more. I’d highly recommend it. Even though it’s close to the action, the room was fairly quiet, especially at night. The area is busy, so if you tend to sleep later you might want earplugs to avoid daytime noise. The location is fantastic, and we were thrilled to choose it.

I love Casa Lapira and would definitely come back. It’s in a great spot and our host was fabulous.
