Everything I needed for a one‑night countryside stay was there. The owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful, and the natural setting was gorgeous. The owner has two dogs: one is very sweet, but the other is a bit sketchy—not dangerous (it won’t bite) but it’s not entirely comfortable with the “guest rotation” situation. The dog is scared and doesn’t know how to handle it, so it barks and looks wild‑eyed. If you’re an animal lover (as I am) you’ll be fine and can probably help the dog overcome its fear of guests and its separation anxiety, but if you’re not, the dog’s attitude might feel abrasive or inappropriate.
