Staff really cared about the family, loved the place and the breakfast was amazing. The only hiccup was a shower hose that fell and flooded the room, but the front desk handled it quickly.

The Nova Suíça lodge feels like staying at a friend's house – simple, warm, and clean. Fernando and Renata were super friendly, Fernando even suggested the best hike to Itapeva. Breakfast had a good mix of breads and sweets, and they made scrambled eggs on the spot. They have a small kitchen with plates, cups, and a microwave if you need to heat something. We even got a cup for medication right away. The lodge is a bit away from Capivari, but 15 minutes gets you to the main area.
