It’s a great spot for spotting wildlife—highly recommend. The whole place could use a bit of TLC.

The location is beautiful, the staff friendly, everything was arranged well, and the breakfast and dinner were good. Tip: use a mosquito net over the bed.

Set in a green oasis five minutes by boat from the village of Tortuguero, toucans and macaws fly over the pool, a small boa was found in the bushes, and turtle nests can be seen on the nearby beach—this lodge is a little paradise. The staff are attentive and extremely friendly.

The spot was great, especially the little lodges on the property, all kept very tidy. The pool was definitely a highlight. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and dinner was just as good. We booked the turtle tour and the boat trip through the national park with them. Absolutely fantastic—lots of wildlife, clear explanations, and the best part is that everyone feels like family. Highly recommended and very helpful.
