The room was close to Dongdaemun, clean, and the public dining area offered four types of instant noodles. The room was a bit small; choosing a larger one required a double bed, and all pillows were the same size, which was a bit high.

The staff were polite and kind, but the shower leaked after a while.

The location is convenient—subway Dongdaemun and Dongmyo, and bus stops are about a five‑minute walk, plus a convenience store nearby. The hotel offers free ramen, coffee, and water. The shower in the room is narrow, but Spa Rex is close enough for a larger bath and shower. Walking around during the day, the shoe wholesale street and stationery/toy wholesale street are interesting. MAX Coffee sits at the shoe wholesale entrance, and a Seven‑Eleven is a short walk away. Overall, a handy hostel with staff who speak Japanese. The downside is that the area feels like a back alley at night, which can be creepy for solo travelers or families. It’s probably best suited for people aged 20‑40. The free ramen means the smell fills the room as soon as you enter, and everything feels cramped.

I was able to check in early before the scheduled time, which was a big help. I wish there were paper holders for the toilet paper.
