We were warmly welcomed and the breakfast was extensive and fantastic. The location is central in a charming, lively town with plenty of restaurants, shops, two gondola lifts and a nice outdoor pool, making it a solid base for sightseeing and walks. Our room was spacious, had a small sitting area, good beds, a tidy bathroom and a balcony. The downside was that the rooms facing the front are on a busy street, especially during the day; we didn’t have any trouble at night even though we slept with the balcony door open.

The location was excellent, breakfast was abundant and tasty, and the host was always welcoming and helpful, offering advice on how to make the most of the planned visits. We didn’t dislike anything.

Located above Oberammergau, the area boasts wall paintings on houses, the Ettal Abbey and Linderhof nearby, and the breathtaking Laber mountain view. It’s very cozy, the breakfast is superb, and the balcony is lovely.
