The site was idyllic and tranquil. I really liked the house’s vibe, and everything we needed was there. The kids enjoyed the rocking chairs, and breakfast provided everything we required. Finding the place was a challenge, and the distances were somewhat misleading via the bird trail. However, a helpful email after the booking clarified that. That was nice.

The bed was fine, and breakfast was great. The rocking chairs were cute once we finally found them. It is indeed quiet, and it would be a good spot for a dog or a larger group if you need an inexpensive overnight place with breakfast. I hadn’t noticed the earlier message about the location; it’s actually 29 km from Kuopio, not 8.5 km, which is the distance along the bird trail! The area is a bit confusing, and the directions could have been clearer. The vibe isn’t rustic; it feels more like a service hotel.

Getting settled was easy, even outside the reception hours. Good value for money.

The cleanliness, breakfast service, and staff were good. The roads and parking area had suffered from rut damage. The laundry had a strong detergent smell; non‑perfumed detergents should be used.
