Nothing about the place pleased us; first, there was no secured parking spot, so we had to park on a curb beside the road because the area was crowded. All the more attractive spots required at least a 20‑minute walk. The owner met us half‑naked at the door, still wearing a shirt, even though we had informed him of our arrival. It turned out the owner lives in the very apartment he rents out a room from, and he didn’t have a key for that room. He lives with a large dog that is overly energetic and playful; it jumped on me and scratched my legs. The bathroom was dirty, and the bathtub contained the dog’s urine bowls. The room itself was also filthy: the mirror, floor, and a dusting on the ceiling, plus it was located directly opposite another room (zero privacy). The kitchen was almost unusable: everything was cluttered, dirty, greasy, half‑broken, etc. The fridge was full of the owner’s food. Additionally, the owner practices some natural healing, which releases odd smells throughout the apartment. It’s not worth the money, and it’s not even suitable for the homeless. Shame! We filed a complaint.
