Because it’s a GW property, the price is a bit high, but the relatively new hotel had a clean room, a proper welcome drink and a good breakfast, so I’d stay again if I get the chance. The breakfast area tables were sticky; providing separate waste boxes for before and after use would have solved that.

The location near Go-i Station was convenient and the building was new and tidy. Unfortunately the free coffee was covered with a sheet so we couldn’t drink it, the walls were thin and we could hear hallway noise, and probably our own sounds carried out as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome drink and the onsen (hot spring bath), which was a lovely touch. However, the fact that it's on the first floor meant that the curtains couldn't be closed properly, which was a bit of a nuisance.

The hotel's cleanliness and large public bath were definite highlights of my stay. The only thing that let it down was the lack of any real character or charm.
