The place feels like home and is really close to nature. The only downside is that the property is undergoing small renovations.
“Currently not to be recommended”
We were very disappointed with the accommodation, which is a real shame because it has great potential but is poorly managed. First, the reception staff are helpful and extremely friendly, yet they have to handle guests' complaints. Just two hours before our arrival, we received an email saying that the balcony room we had booked was no longer available and that we would instead have to take a ground‑floor room. At such short notice, finding alternative accommodation is hardly possible. The room itself was quite run‑down; I attached a photo of the refrigerator as an example. One of the beds only had a somewhat unpleasant‑looking blanket and no bed sheet. Outside the room, there was a table with only one chair, and even that had peeling paint that stuck to our belongings. In any case, sitting outside was impossible because pumps on the property were running constantly at an unbearable noise level. Whenever one stopped, another started. The peak was reached when two were running simultaneously while a staff member was also using a pressure washer nearby. Water‑pressure problems are understandable, but as a hotel you should install quiet pumps and place them in enclosed rooms. There was also construction work around the pool, progressing at a rather slow pace. The pool itself urgently needs repainting. Although the water was clean, the many brown stains made it look very poorly maintained. The issue of the breakfast buffet being replenished too slowly, or not at all, has already been mentioned in other reviews. On our very first day, there was no coffee left. As for the completely excessive prices for the jacuzzi, let's leave that aside. And on our last morning, there was only cold water coming from the shower. Overall, the place needs proper management and probably a complete closure for a thorough renovation and deep cleaning, which should ideally be carried out without guests being present.
The location was the best thing ever! It’s almost on the beach, you only take about 3 minutes to get there, the place looked like a jungle, very, very beautiful. The cleanliness was perhaps the weak point; we arrived and everything looked clean, but it had just been cleaned and the whole day it smelled like chlorine, which even stained our pants, and the worst part was finding another person’s hair on the sheets 😔. Other than that, everything was fine.
The lodge is wonderful, the team is excellent, everyone is very polite and helpful. The lodge is very close to the sea, which is indispensable for me! My family and I liked it a lot, and I hope to return many times!
“Lugar para relaxar”
I liked the location, the friendliness of the staff, the good shower, the comfortable bed, and the contact with nature inside the lodge. They could improve a bit on room cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities.
