The event space under my room played a band one night and hosted a drinks party outside my window another; they apologized, yet management was unreachable at 1.30 am.

The bedroom was big and spacious with a very comfortable bed, but being at the front of the building meant a lot of traffic noise.

Overall a very positive experience; the staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient without exception. The breakfast quality was good but pricey—my wife, who only wanted porridge and a pot of tea, was charged £24.00, which felt disproportionate and off‑putting, so we found breakfast elsewhere in town that day. The shower water pressure was inadequate.
