If you want to explore the old town, this is a good starting point. You’re just a few steps from the main street, and you can reach the bazaar and most of the well‑known sights in a moment. The family that runs the guesthouse is very kind, and overall it’s a nice place to stay for a few nights.

The staff were very friendly and always attentive. The breakfast was very abundant and could be repeated. The location is excellent.

The owners were very kind and gave us a new room on the upper floor – it was clean and we felt comfortable in it. They tried to accommodate us in everything, and we thank them for that. I can recommend this accommodation at this place :)

“Nice enough, cash only, thin walls, no beside lamps, everything is so squeaky!!”

The location was okay, but one end of the road was blocked off, so a 2‑minute walk took 20. The kid in charge of breakfast did a good job and was very polite. The bed, floor, and doors were all so squeaky—very annoying. Fix it! The walls are thin. There was no bedside lamp, only the main lights. Even though the pictures showed lights and other things, it was a bit misleading. It’s cash only, so I had to go to an ATM and I didn’t have enough time (although I did…just) which added stress to my schedule.

“Семейный гест-хауз в отличной локации”

The hotel, or rather the guesthouse, is in the very center of Samarkand. Walking to Registan Square takes 7 minutes through the narrow streets of the mahalla and the pedestrian Tashkent Street, although Google Maps keeps trying to send you the detour. The location is great! It’s, of course, a budget option. The room had a window facing the courtyard. The bathroom is small, but the hot water pressure is good. Breakfasts are modest, but you won’t go hungry. The bedding is white, good quality, but stained. That’s unpleasant, and there are plenty of bleach and stain removers now to solve the issue. I’m a host myself, so I know what I’m talking about.
