The location was isolated yet incomparable, all set up with great taste, but there was no kitchen—only an electric plate—and many cooking utensils, like a knife, were missing, and there were no cabinets or space to store luggage.

The apartment’s location is perfect for a one‑night stop, especially for a road trip. It’s a charming spot in the middle of the Connemara moor, near a stunning little lake and a viewpoint (see photo). The hosts, Donna and Edwin, are very kind and ready to meet every need. Close to the property is an honesty shop where you can buy food and local products. Having breakfast available would have made the stay even better, given how far the shops are, but that’s just a suggestion for the hosts.
