The pictures on the website convinced me to book, the fan worked and the toilet was clean, but once I arrived the place looked nothing like the photos—more like a second‑hand motel. Everything seemed broken or unfinished: the bed sagged, the wall behind it was damaged and stained, only one socket barely functioned, the table was covered in someone else’s food residue, there was no hot water the first night I tried to shower, the bathroom light died on day two, the ceiling of the bathroom constantly creaked, there was no toilet paper, the toilet seat was loose, I wasn’t allowed Wi‑Fi, countless mosquitoes swarmed the room, the bathtub was covered in lime scale, there was a bureau but no bureau chair. I left a day early. At €34 this was far too expensive; I wouldn’t even spend €5.

Mosquitoes were a real nuisance, towels weren’t handed out until I asked, and there was no geyser or heater.
