The room was clean and conveniently located—not far from the main road, so taxis could reach it easily, and breakfast was free. The main problem was customer service and the tour I booked with them. I booked a “Moyen Atlas (Volubilis, Meknes, Azrou …)” tour; the chat support was perfunctory, though the in‑person staff were better. Still, the tour fell short, and the hotel never replied to my feedback: no guide contact details were provided at all—ironically I got them from another participant; I was told the tour would start at 8 am but the driver didn’t arrive until 9:30 am, and I couldn’t contact the guide until the manager, who arrived after 8 am, told me. I could have used the extra time to explore or sleep, but the tour finished later than expected. The Volubilis ticket was not included, nor was Azrou. The driver irresponsibly told me to take a private taxi to the train station in Meknes on my own, so I ended up in Meknes instead of Fès, despite ample time to arrange alternative transport, while other participants were due to leave hours later. After many taxi rejections, I finally got to the station on time with help from a local, which was unnecessarily stressful. The hotel charged 380 dirhams for this substandard tour, when I could find it on another reputable site for half the price. Worse, the website said the tour actually started at 9:20 am, so the hotel misinformed me and didn’t bother to give me the correct info. I suggest booking a tour elsewhere or online; the hotel’s customer service was perfunctory and unhelpful.
