Very charming. The café was great. Staff were very friendly. I liked everything.

The place was super quiet and the decor was lovely, with every little detail thought out. We were a family of five in a first‑floor suite and the staff made us feel right at home. The only downside was the sofa‑bed – not great for adults, though it works for toddlers – and the unpaved entrance road and worn interior pavement, but that’s a community issue.

This lodge is amazing – I'd give it a perfect score if I could. Eduardo at the front desk was super friendly and gave us loads of tips for exploring São Miguel do Gostoso. The kitchen crew, Juliana and Rose, are sweet and the meals are delicious. On our last day Lucas welcomed us again, still as attentive as ever. Loved it, will be back soon!

The rooms were comfy and brand new. But I missed having lunch options at the hotel. A few simple dishes like steak with fries, risotto, or pasta with steak or shrimp would be nice.
