The room offered plenty of storage, the bed was comfortable, the shower was beautiful, everything was spotless, and the staff were very attentive.

The room quality was excellent, but spending $10 a day at the bar or restaurant feels like pennies.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the property felt more like a 3‑star than a 4‑star; the online photos mislead and the place is much smaller than expected. I was disappointed with the neighborhood—some areas felt ghetto—and though the location is central, it’s not close to everything. Walking to the High Line or Vessel takes 25–30 minutes at a relaxed pace, and the nearest landmark, the Flatiron Building, is a 5‑minute walk. I would have chosen a spot nearer Central Park or Times Square, but not right in Times Square. The rooms were too small, with no luggage space; we stayed in a double room with two beds for three people. The sink was outside the bathroom, which is awful if you need water at night, as it wakes everyone up.

The place was very clean, the location was great, the restaurant was excellent, and the staff were helpful and friendly.
