“HORRIBLE”

I arrived in Catania with my wife and newborn, and the staff vanished at check‑in, leaving us stranded at night in a foreign city where I don’t speak Italian. I tried calling and texting that same day, but no one answered.

The place sits right in the center, surrounded by supermarkets and public transport. Self‑check‑in works, the room feels cozy and romantic with a comfy bed, a functioning jacuzzi and shower, and a coffee machine in the common area. The host is very friendly and always ready to help. The only downside is that the adjoining rooms have thin walls, so you can hear other guests.

Fabrizio was an excellent host, always ready to assist with any request. The neighborhood is pleasant and not too busy, unlike some parts of Catania that felt unsafe; here we never had safety concerns. Street parking was nearby and cheap, so we always found a spot. Overall, great value for the price.

Only a few minutes’ walk from the historic center. The host is very friendly and helpful.

The manager was available and often stepped in. However, the building has many unmarked stairs, the rooms are small with poor furniture, the bidet leaked, and there were unpleasant odors. Pillows were supplied but of very low quality, and there was a toy phone. The location is excellent.
