I stayed in a place that smelled unbearably moldy; the house itself was cramped, and we were separated from other guests by a small gate in the stairwell. The sheets and beds were ancient, and the bathroom had a low ceiling—definitely not what the photos suggested.

“L'incubo”

The photos on the website didn't match reality at all. I documented everything with photos and videos: every wall and ceiling is stuffed with polystyrene, some parts are detached and dangerous, and the low ceilings are covered in countless dead insects that were never removed. The walls in the bedroom and bathroom have exposed copper pipes for radiators—no protective covering, so they feel like razor blades. In the bathroom, a pipe was even used as a towel rack, but touching it cuts you. The bedroom wardrobe is a recycled piece; when you try to open it, the door falls on you because the hinges are loose. Under the bed and in the internal staircase, there are obvious spider webs and mouse droppings. The pillows were dirty with huge stains and even blood traces in some spots. The sheets in the bathroom were filthy with hair or fur. There is no window or extractor fan in the bathroom, which is illegal. Behind the headboard, there were pipes for a former bathroom and a long cable wrapped in tape that ran from a single outlet to the two nightstands; that outlet also powered a fridge.

The house had a terrible mold smell. If we had arrived earlier and had more time, we would have left this place and found another.

It is a perfect place to stay, a unique house, a cult. I recommend it. After two weeks, he still hasn't sent me the invoice.

“Breve ma piacevole”

The bed was very comfortable, the sheets and tablecloths were clean and fragrant. The services were very tidy and the rest of the room too. We even had a working hairdryer and plenty of space to store our stuff. Breakfast was at the bar next to the house, offered by the host, who was very kind, always available, and quick to answer whenever I called. I recommend it. At the entrance, there was a strong closed‑in mold odor, the stairs were dusty, and all doors (except the front door) wouldn't close; there were no keys. The worst part was that on the upper floor there were other people, and the only thing separating us from them was a simple partition with a “do not enter” sign. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant.
