The hotel’s location was great, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The property spreads across several floors but lacks an elevator. Cleaning isn’t automatic; we had to ask twice and still nothing happened, so we often had to climb up and down to get fresh towels and toilet paper. The shower was a nightmare—no curtain or enclosure, and the water ran straight into the toilet. Overall, it felt like a big disappointment; everything we saw online was very different from reality. Still, the stay was enjoyable enough and the price matched what you get, so if you’re traveling on a budget I’d recommend it—just be prepared for the photos to be misleading.

The location is good—just a walk to Lumphini Park in Bangkok. There is no elevator and the building is old.

What I liked most was how well the hotel was connected to public transport, making city travel easy. The staff were quite friendly, the room size was appropriate, and there was a washing machine available whenever you wanted to do laundry. On the downside, the hotel was generally poorly maintained. Pipes and cables were visible in the rooms, walls had damp patches, and insects were crawling along the walls. The bathroom was especially uncomfortable because there was nothing to separate the shower from the toilet and sink, so when you showered you’d end up soaking the rest of the bathroom.
The staff were helpful, the facilities were solid, and coffee was available all day. The only issue was that the rooms didn’t get dark enough in the morning.
