The spot’s right in the middle of everything and the staff are super friendly, but the sheets were falling apart – definitely too old.

Location is top‑notch and the staff are super friendly, but the breakfast is underwhelming for what you pay. The mattress feels old, the AC is noisy and outdated, and the shower space is cramped.

We went to Pousada Raio do Sol in Ilhéus and it was a disaster – the place was filthy, spiders and roaches everywhere, the beds barely had room between them, the AC was dusty, and the breakfast had spoiled food; we even found larvae in a cake.
