I chose Tennoji Station because of its convenience before my flight the next day, but I got lost inside the station—first I found the JR exit, then crossing the street felt most intuitive. A few days before arriving I discovered the property housed dogs, so I texted the host who assured me the dogs were on a different floor than the guests and to relax. When I entered Hotel 3 O'Clock Tennoji it was spotless and free of pet odor; the dog did bark once in a back room when I arrived, but the place is pet‑friendly and I was worried about nightly barks—luckily everything stayed quiet. The first floor runs a beverage shop and I received a welcome drink; I ordered a matcha latte, which was tasty—though I learned the machine only serves hot matcha before automatically adding ice. There’s an elevator, the rooms are quite spacious, the bathroom separates wet and dry areas, and even a jacuzzi, which was a delightful surprise. I expected a hot spring‑style tub but the jacuzzi was even more luxurious. The only gripe was the vent noise, but it can be turned off.
