The place was convenient, parking was only a few dozen metres from the hostel, and the price was reasonable. Nobody warned us about the ongoing room renovations, so the hallway on each side was filled with construction mess and removed furniture. We booked a room in December, it was cold outside, the room wasn’t heated (and it didn’t heat up even late at night – we arrived as scheduled in the afternoon). The paper doors really didn’t soundproof the pub on the ground floor (and the quiet hours after 22:00 weren’t respected, the noise continued past 23:00), so we were quite tired the next day. Inside the pension (more like a hostel) there was a strong sewage smell everywhere.

After the room was heated everything was fine, the shower worked, and the heating was good. The hallway had a bad waste smell. In the room the heater was on setting 1, so it was noticeably uncomfortable when turned up full, the temperature rose sharply. The wine at the restaurant was bland, as expected for Moravian…

“Přijemné pracovní přespání u Olomouce”

The staff were pleasant, the place was beautiful next to the church, and from the window I could see sheep – romantic :-) The plum pork cutlet with potatoes and the potato pancake with tvarůžky were tasty. :-) The atmosphere was friendly. There was no shower head and no toilet in the bathroom :-)

“Relax a pohoda”

The environment was calm, the staff were excellent and helpful, offering advice about the surroundings, and it was a relaxed place to unwind.
