“Need to focus on cleanliness and traditional food”

It’s a traditional home surrounded by trees. Even though it’s a traditional house, it’s unfortunately not well maintained: staircases, wooden beds, windows are dusty, mirrors have stains, towels have yellow stains, and the toiletries offered were just a small medium‑mix soap. The food service was slow and of basic quality. The information desk staff should avoid speaking loudly with guests.

I loved the classic Konkan vibe, but the food selection was cut down because of a gas shortage.

The service was awful; even after calling the staff at 2 pm and reminding them, nothing was fixed by the time we got there around 5:30 pm, and they still had nothing ready for us.

“frustrating, unfair, and exhausting”

The building itself was fine, but the experience at Konkan Nest Resort was utterly disappointing and unprofessional. The listing misled me by showing an AC room in the photos, while the room was actually non‑AC, and this was never mentioned during booking. Their policy says cancellations are non‑refundable, but this was a case of misrepresentation, not my fault, yet they denied any refund. We never even checked in and had to leave after a long trip. A power outage occurred with no generator backup, and other guests were sweating in the heat, showing poor management, lack of transparency, and disregard for guests. I strongly advise others to avoid this place and be careful before booking.
