The breakfast was excellent, the room was very beautiful and comfortable, parking was available, the location was great, don’t miss the bar next to the restaurant for your aperitif, and bike rentals are just a short walk away.

“Durchwachsen mit deutlichen Mängeln”

The location is great: right on the Mosel, not in the middle of the bustle, but within walking distance to the city centre; the reception and breakfast staff were very friendly. The facilities were partially defective (lighting, broken balcony chairs, loud rattling fridge), it wasn’t cleaned properly: dirty toothbrush cups, limescale and stains in the bathroom, no cleaning on the balcony (full of ashtrays!).

The room was exceptionally clean, large and bright with many lights – unusual for Europe – and the breakfast was fabulous, with eggs cooked fresh to order.

I noticed a few issues: two lamps had broken bulbs, and the minibar was noisy and kept turning on and off by itself.
