La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Jackson

“Very excellent (except as noted above) and a great value. Super clean spacious!”

Everything was fine except the bathroom mirror light. I would have liked more fruit and plain yogurt (not just flavored and sugared ones). The only real downside was that the light embedded around the bathroom window mirror never turned on; the desk staff mentioned many of those mirrors in rooms were not wired correctly, so they wouldn't illuminate. The only other light was a very dim ceiling light, which made shaving or applying makeup difficult and needs to be fixed.

We were extremely pleased with this hotel; it was very clean, comfortable, and the staff were nice and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

“it was very nice with very little wrong. i woiuld stay there again when i go back down”

it was quiet and clean, check in and out was very easy and professional. I did have 1 bug in the room, there wasn't enough enough towels

“Nice facility footprint, but terrible property management.”

The spot was right next to I40 and only a 10 minute drive to downtown Jackson, with a grocery store and several restaurants just a walk away. Breakfast was decent and I met one of the best staff members on the property. The hotel is new but poorly run – my room wasn’t ready or clean when I arrived and the room clerk immediately blamed housekeeping for being lazy, which raised red flags. During my 5-night stay I never got room keeping even after asking twice for clean linens. The on‑site gym was dirty and I had to clean the equipment myself. The pool stayed closed the whole time, the public water fountain filters needed changing and never were, and one of the room clerks had several visible tattoos with curse words and profanities on his arms.
