“Dias de preguiça e lazer num local ainda longe de multidões.”

The place was really pleasant and D. Elvira, who greeted us, was incredibly friendly. The location sits nicely between typical villages and there’s a lot to see nearby. It was hard to find open restaurants, probably because we stayed from Monday to Wednesday, which seemed to line up with the holiday and weekend days.

We stumbled in and found gorgeous gardens and a pool! The accommodation itself is lovely, blending the original architecture with modern touches.

I loved everything about this wonderful place and want to go back. D. Elvira deserves a special shout‑out for her friendliness, efficiency, professionalism, and dedication. She treated us like family, and we were so fond of her that we’d have brought her along to Lisbon if we could. Don’t let her slip away!
