The “maringotka” was fully equipped, the surroundings were great, the breakfast was excellent, and the communication was pleasant – I can only recommend it. During the festival, however, prices around Karlovy Vary were unfortunately higher.

The glamping cabins were really nice and cozy, and the area was wonderfully peaceful. Unfortunately the pool wasn’t available after all, and we couldn’t get the cabin we wanted because the air‑conditioning didn’t work, but that’s the kind of thing that can happen; the staff handled it well and we still enjoyed a pleasant week even though we stayed in a different cabin than booked.

The small rooms were modern and clean, and checking in through their website went very smoothly. The photos in the listing were cleverly staged; you couldn’t see that the accommodation was on an unattractive campsite or that other tiny houses were only a few metres away. At first I was downgraded because one of the larger houses was unavailable due to a defect, and I was told I’d get a “same room, just without a balcony.” The money I paid for the larger unit was not refunded. When I arrived, it turned out that several advertised features were missing – for example, the glass‑front shower that looked out onto the street. The biggest complaint is that the place explicitly advertises “Quiet Adults Only,” yet there was a family with children on the grounds who played loud music on a boombox all day and late into the night. The kids ran constantly between the houses and screamed. The next morning the noise started at 6:30 am and continued with music and shouting. This was the complete opposite of the peaceful stay one would expect from the description. To escape the noise we tried to use the large pool that was advertised, only to find it closed without prior notice, so that option was also lost. The sauna, also advertised, could only be used for an extra fee, which wasn’t clearly highlighted in the description. Overall, the stay was a huge disappointment for the high price. The value for money is simply not there for me. I definitely will not return and cannot recommend this place to anyone.

The location is quiet and close to nature, just as one would imagine. Unfortunately it wasn’t clean – there was a huge spider web on the bed, the screen and curtains were dirty, and the kitchen utensils were filthy. A fly was in the kettle, and because the house warmed up through the front windows to a constant 29 °C, the drains smelled extremely strong.
