Boro Hotel

The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable with nice toiletries. However, the minimalist design felt too extreme—there was only one hard‑wood chair and no comfortable seating. I paid extra for a balcony, but it had a high wall and no view, just cold metal chairs, and there was no light switch by the bed.

Le Boro Hotel has character, a blend of minimalist and brutalist style, and offers great comfort with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and dining close to Manhattan at a slightly lower price. The staff are charming and welcoming, and the reception is always available. It is very accessible from La Guardia airport, which is handy for domestic flights. Rooms on upper floors provide a nice city view and are very bright. The neighborhood, however, isn’t very lively and lacks quality restaurants or small shops nearby.

The food was really good overall, but it was annoying that there were no reading lamps by the bed.

“Love Queens, great staff”

I had a nice room with a balcony, a huge bed, a great shower, and it was very comfortable. The staff were really, really nice. The bed frame’s edges were sharp, and with the blackout curtains you have to be careful. The TV was a bit hard to use, and the remote didn’t work very well.

You really need a fridge, TV, and a fox—otherwise it’s just not enough.
