The room was cozy and featured a lovely balcony with comfortable chairs; the only minor gripe was the lack of fruit at breakfast, which is unusual in the Middle East but similar to other hotels.

I’m happy to recommend The Y Hotel. It’s in a convenient spot, right next to Rainbow Street, yet tucked into a quiet side street that keeps traffic noise away. The beds feel very comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful.

The staff, especially Mr. Wagdi, were incredibly kind and helpful, the location is excellent, the beds are clean and comfortable, but the room is basic and the carpets could use a redo.
