The location was peaceful and the staff were very attentive; the facilities were excellent and well maintained, and breakfast was delicious. Nothing to complain about—just a car is recommended.

The calm around the hotel and the pool at just the right temperature, even when it rained, were great; breakfast was tasty and the staff were polite and understanding. The lounge was roomy with board games and a view of greenery and the pool, perfect for morning yoga before a dip. The address we were given was wrong, so when I pasted it into Google Maps the app led us through the Nosara region full of unpaved roads and potholes; the staff later advised us to head north toward Tamarindo. It’s a long trip from San Jose, either by land with many construction stretches or by ferry.

The stay was absolutely stunning; we only stayed one night but really wanted to extend. The property is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and set in a peaceful natural setting. The rooms are spacious with huge, incredibly comfortable beds, and I loved relaxing in the rocking chair on our private terrace. The pool is lovely, and seeing wildlife like coatis and hummingbirds around the property added to the experience. Service was outstanding throughout. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and we also dined at the on‑site restaurant. The hotel is about a 10‑minute drive from Ostional Beach, where you can see the amazing turtle arribadas. Overall, a fantastic place to unwind in nature; I’d gladly return. The hotel is somewhat secluded, which adds to its charm but may not suit everyone. The access road can be a bit rough, especially the final dirt stretch with potholes. The restaurant serves good food, but prices are higher than average and the menu leans toward Western tastes rather than local Costa Rican cuisine; these are minor points compared to the overall wonderful experience.

The location is fabulous, close to Ostional and Playa San Juanillo. The gardens are gorgeous and the place is very peaceful; everything else is good.

It’s very pretty and spectacular, but the hot water doesn’t work very well.
