“Met the owner and he was extremely nice and helpful with information on places to eat and visit.”

The room was spotlessly clean, which mattered a lot to us, but the bathroom was so tiny that the shower was almost impossible to use, especially for people who aren’t underweight.

I liked the location, but the small bathroom, small TV, and the fact that the water could cause swimmer’s itch were all off-putting.

The staff were wonderful, always ready to help whenever I had a question or needed something. The property stayed clean and well maintained, and its location was convenient for trips to Empire or Glen Haven. A short walk led to a lovely little lake nearby, which the hotel kept stocked with kayaks and paddle boards. The check‑in and check‑out process was a little confusing, but it was fine.
