West Point Hotel Bed and Breakfast

“It was okay for two nights but probably wouldn’t stay there again. Staff lovely though”

The breakfast was good, though fresh tomatoes would have improved it and the sausage was just average. There was no double glazing, so it was quite noisy, and the shower felt a bit small. The room was nice and large, but overall it seemed a bit tired. The bed lacked a mattress cover.

The bed was comfortable, the kettle in the room, and it was clean even though it was vintage. Two separate faucets from the sink were a minor inconvenience, but nothing major.

A lovely lady at breakfast—10/10 for the service. The place felt a bit dated, the bathmat was fraying, and the restaurant recommendation was KFC 😆.

Great location, just a 10‑minute walk from the seafront promenade and the town centre. We parked at the hotel without any issues and enjoyed a good breakfast. The building looks a bit dated; the room was fine but the bathroom was really small and could use some renovation.

Friendly staff and not far from the promenade. The breakfast selection was limited—just a bit of cereals. Everyone gets an English breakfast, but you’re asked what you want. The coffee from the machine was okay.
