“Miły hotel w Baia Mare”

The receptionist called me at 22:00 before the hotel closed to confirm I could arrive on time. Breakfast was tasty with basic food items. The room had comfortable beds, a TV, and a fridge. There is free parking next to the hotel. No elevator, quite far from the city center, so driving is better.

It is far from the city center, and a renovation would be welcome.

“Maximálna spokojnosť v každom smere.”

Hotel New is located in the wider city center in a quiet and safe area. It has its own free parking. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the reception only operates until 9:00 PM in the evening. Breakfast was served during our visit, varied and tasty. Within a 15‑minute walk there is the Vivo shopping center, a currency exchange, and close to the hotel is also a Kaufland supermarket; if we visit Baia Mare again, we would choose this hotel again because of its overall excellent value for money.

“Ok, personal amabil si gata sa te ajute in orice situatie.”

The windows lacked screens, so you couldn’t open them; our room sat above the breakfast prep area and the kitchen smell drifted in every morning.
