“Más una pensión que un hotel.”
The beds were large and quite comfortable. There was no wardrobe, the bathroom lacked a light over the sink, only cold water was available and it was a thin trickle, the shower sprayed water everywhere, the curtains were so thin that all light seeped in at dawn, and the room faced a football field that had matches on weekends. Next to a daycare, you could hear all the children and the teacher. The key was huge. The pillows were extremely small, barely fitting a head, even though there were two per bed. Breakfast was served by them and was sparse. There was no elevator, and we were on the fourth floor. It was a 20‑minute walk to the city center.
