“Comfortable rooms in close proximity to the beach and international airport (with free transfers)”

We spent our last night at the Beach Corridor Hotel after arriving at Colombo airport overseas; we got there after dark and had to leave for the airport at 0430hrs, so we didn’t get to enjoy it properly, but the stay was comfortable and the hosts were very professional and courteous. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool, pool table, or the property’s proximity to the beach.

“Despite good location the advertised room was extremely disappointing and had to be relocated.”

The spot was spot on, and after we were shifted to a nearby apartment, that place turned out great—especially the rooftop pool—and we could still hit the original hotel for breakfast. The room we ended up in was a complete mismatch from what the ads promised; we were sold a balcony with an ocean view, but got none of that. After a lot of back‑and‑forth with staff and management, and a broken promise to swap rooms, we finally got moved to a close‑by apartment.

The airport pickup was good, but the place was run down, though it was fine for one night.

Everyone was friendly and the place matched the description exactly. The only downside was that the free shuttle service was a bit lacking.

The hotel was lovely, with a great location, spotless rooms, and decent food. Nothing negative—everything was just perfect.
