I booked Hotel Welcome in Surat because the online photos looked clean and pleasant, yet the room was filthy with a strong, unpleasant odor. The bathroom was unhygienic, the water tasted extremely salty, making it hard to brush teeth, and bathing in that water during summer caused skin itching. The room’s condition didn’t match the advertised images, and as a group of three we felt deceived. Cleanliness, hygiene, and water quality were far below acceptable standards, so I would not recommend this hotel and advise others to verify such properties carefully.
