The antique furniture and European‑style building and interior are nice, the large bath is great, and the restaurant on the 15th floor has a good view. The TV and remote are mismatched, and the pay‑TV card only works for 1000 yen of old cards; the front desk changed it for us, but it’s still a hassle.

It’s within walking distance to Higashi‑Okazaki. After work I was drenched in sweat and wanted to shower before heading out for drinks, but the body‑soap dispenser was broken, which really dampened the refreshing feeling.
