“Ich mag das Hotel sehr!”

The staff were surprisingly friendly and the welcome felt like a lift after a tiring day; the room layout was unusual compared to usual and I liked it a lot, especially how the bedroom was separated from the rest, making it feel almost home‑like. I don’t like carpets in hotel rooms, but that’s just how I feel in general.

“Valaha szebb napokat látott hotel, belvárosból könnyen megközelíthető.”

The bed was comfortable and the staff were kind, yet they didn’t speak English. The carpet had a strong, sharp, worn smell; the toilet seat was already broken upon arrival and fell off when we sat on it. The road in front of the hotel was very busy.

“Okay, aber nicht überragend”

It was easy to reach, had perfect public transport links, only a short drive to St. Jakobshalle, free parking, and a pleasant on‑site restaurant. The room faced the street and was noisy at night, and the early‑morning breakfast selection was relatively limited.

The staff were very kind, courteous, and appreciative toward me, yet the single room felt extremely isolated.

The reception was friendly, the room was clean, and a tram stop was right next to the hotel, but there was no lighting at the entrance or anywhere outside the hotel, so on the way back from a party we found ourselves in a pitch‑black night and could not open the door without a phone flashlight; also the shower is located inside the bathtub.
