Room 1 Shared House in L7

I was given an address from the booking site that turned out to be a dead link, so I couldn't locate the property. The address the owner sent me was wrong, and when I emailed her to explain, she said no refund would be possible. My parents, who are in their 70s and not tech‑savvy, had to book a Premier room at three times the price. I would never book here again because the communication was terrible.

The location was convenient, but the house was noisy—footsteps from other guests were audible, the walls vibrated, and the heavy door slammed shut loudly. The tiny garden had no seating, so it wasn’t usable. It’s suitable for a single night, but otherwise not great.

The location and facilities were good, but there were screams and fights in a room with seven people. The front door was left open and they made a lot of noise. I complained to the owner and the issue was resolved, but we still had a rough time. There should have been better check‑in control.

“Practical. So many booking problems because of booking.com”

The place was practical and automatic but not charming, and the rooms were too hot, yet everything else was fine. I shouldn’t have booked through the booking site—I paid too much and my personal data was leaked. I received spam on my phone with my booking ID via WhatsApp. Next time I’ll book elsewhere; usually searching on Google is better.

The house was cleaned almost daily, but the people I met during my stay were very noisy and messy. I found toilet paper on the floor and trainers on the kitchen counter. They took my food from the fridge, etc. In addition, the room is quite damp and has significant leaks; on the first day it rained heavily and I had to put a bin under the ceiling to collect the water dripping down. The address that appears on the app and is then sent to you is different, it should be corrected. Furthermore, you choose this accommodation because of its proximity to where you want to go, and then you find that it is far away in the opposite direction, which is very bad
