I had to travel for a family emergency and paid for the room with my credit card, but the hotel treated the payment like a suspicious transaction and canceled the reservation without calling me first; they had no rooms left and Dan MacDonald’s response was simply poor customer service.

It was clean but worn. Duct tape on the floor in 3 places right where you walk . Air conditioner sounded like pouring rain all night long. Very hard to sleep with that much noise
