The bed was comfy, the meal was great, the room was cosy and quiet.

Michelle was very welcoming, the roast was one of the best I've had, and my room was cosy with everything I needed; I would definitely stay again if I'm in town. The only downside was hearing my neighbour snore, and I even found out in the morning that they heard me snoring too.

After a long walk we were greeted by John, one of the friendly owners, who showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed; the room was simple, comfy and perfect, and we were too tired to enjoy the garden, though it looked gorgeous for a coffee or a beer. We just wished the bar were still open so we could have sat by the fire after our walk, but that’s not a flaw of the hotel, just unlucky timing on our part!
