The rooms were very spacious, clean, and well‑maintained inside the building (both common areas and rooms). I missed a room safe; the outdoor areas (both common and room areas) are already aging and no longer well‑maintained.

“A good stay - we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again”

I had a pleasant stay, with a delicious breakfast that was simple yet satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help me. Having access to a pool table was a great bonus, but unfortunately, the public areas were often deserted, which made the place feel a bit lifeless.

The rooms were spotlessly clean, which was a major plus. However, the breakfast was a letdown, with subpar eggs and tiny portions that left me feeling underwhelmed. It was a shame, as the potential was there, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations.

“Broadly great but”

Our stay in the wooden lodge was a real treat, with breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks, even in the midst of winter. The room size was generous, and we were happy with our Coach house accommodation. Although the location was a bit of a trek from town, having a car made it manageable.
