The mellow poshtel is the best hostel I've ever lived in. It matches the images posted, and the owner, Mr. Prem, and staff are extremely cordial and friendly. They provide hot showers, a microwave, an electric kettle, and clean plates and spoons in the common area for free use. The staff are available 24 hours, and Mr. Phyo helped me navigate and gave information on day tours, the Phuket smart bus (check this cheap bus for travel between the airport and Kata market); if he hadn't shared the timetable, I would have spent another 1000+ TBH on Grab/taxi. The beds are very comfortable, and Ms. Ali maintains cleanliness meticulously. They charge for towels daily. The balcony view is amazing (back side of the big Buddha). There are many Indian and Thai restaurants, exchange booths, and 24‑hour food and grocery shops (7 Eleven) where you can buy frozen/ready‑to‑cook items at cheap prices and cook using the hostel’s microwave. Overall, I had a wonderful time; everything was amazing at a surprisingly low price, likely due to the off‑season when everything in Phuket is very cheap. The cleanliness, friendliness, aura, and positivity around the hostel are indescribable. I would strongly recommend this hostel, especially if you love peaceful living. All the best to Mr. Prem and his team. There is nothing to dislike; everything is just amazing.

The staff were fairly available. The room was noisy, poorly sound‑proofed, and the beds were quite hard and uncomfortable.

The rooms are spacious, with good beds, curtains, and placement, a nice bathroom, balcony, and rooftop area. There is no fridge, no water dispenser, and the beds are hard.

I’m very sorry, but I can only complain about the place we were housed in. The room assigned to us was filthy: the floor was full of stains, the toilet was in the same condition, and hair was literally everywhere on the floor. Even the bathroom carpet was dirty and stained. The desk was damaged: nothing could be placed on it because everything was about to fall or, worse, the desk itself seemed about to break. After our complaints, we were given a new room, but unfortunately it was even dirtier than the previous one. I asked for a refund several times, but it was not granted. The only solution offered by the manager was an additional cleaning of the room, even though it was already five in the afternoon. This also disrupted our plans, because we were forced to wait without being able to enter the room. The cleaning was still unsatisfactory, but since the stay had already been paid and it wasn’t a small amount, we reluctantly decided to stay and finish the stay there. The owner, by the way, did not even apologize for the incident, which I found very unprofessional. Moreover, twice (since we were here for two nights and rooms are cleaned daily in the facility, theoretically) we were given only one towel per person, exclusively for the shower. Truly a negative experience. The only positive note is for the receptionist, who was visibly mortified by the situation, apologized several times, and tried to help us. I do not recommend it at all.
