The location was fine. The bathroom had a weak water jet, making it impossible to shower fully; the suite key didn’t change that. Breakfast was very modest, not worth four stars, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

I liked the bedding and the quietness, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind. Room NAPOLÉON was beautiful and comfortable, with a nice SB, double sinks, and a separate WC. The restaurant offered quality dishes, though a flute of champagne was a bit pricey. Breakfast was perfect. The access was a bit difficult, prices were somewhat high, the hotel felt slightly lacking in prestige, and we had a heating issue in mid‑October that left us cold.

“A night of pure indulgence and luxury”

A beautiful building in a magnificent setting. Lovely staff who did everything they could for us and a food experience that was unforgettable, all set in wonderful, extravagant surroundings. Leave bags in the car before checking in at the bottom of a spiral staircase; if you have mobility issues, call the hotel before booking.
