Tan Rallt Holiday Park & Spa

The setting was really nice and almost totally secluded, except for the trek path directly behind the hot tub – nothing says relaxation like two hikers passing. The spa and gym were top class, but the couch in the living room made it hard for anyone over 50 to get up without a hoist, and the lodge was not very clean – big cobwebs all around and the table needed a good clean

The staff were friendly and the place was very clean, but it was further from the sea than expected and the fabric furniture was stained

The location was beautiful, but the place is advertised as a lodge when it is actually a static caravan, so don't be deceived – if we had known we wouldn't have booked. The cleanliness was shockingly bad, the sliding internal doors were dangerous and unattached, a chair was missing and we were told it had always had just a settee and chair, even though the images showed two chairs; they reluctantly brought the additional one. The cleaner was made to work past her hours, even though we had said to come back the next day, and she was crying while cleaning, which was very awkward and uncomfortable for us. The outdoor furniture cushions were soaking wet and unusable; the staff blamed the previous occupants for leaving them out, with no request to bring them in, so they should take responsibility and have spares available. We left early for reasons beyond their control

The caravan with hot tub we stayed in was perfect, clean and comfortable, and there was nothing negative – it was great

“Awful”

The hot tub was nice, but the caravan we booked and was pictured on the booking information was not what we were given, so the information when booking was misleading. The caravan wasn’t very clean even after we asked to be moved because the first one was even worse with no views at all. A burst water pipe left us with no water for 24 hours, only one bottle of water was issued and there was no communication about what was happening. The restaurant and bar were closed on both Saturday and Sunday night. Rowdy neighbours were partying until after 1 a.m. and there was no one on site. The bed was so uncomfortable we couldn’t sleep, and the caravan was dirty, basic and not what we had booked according to your website, yet it still cost over 700.00 for three nights. The site took a 250.00 holding deposit and I still have not had that credited back to my account
