It was a simple but pleasant stay in the small Tusnad, and the food at the tiny restaurant was outstanding; the room was quite small, but still acceptable.

The hotel’s restaurant is genuinely excellent, and the breakfast is well balanced with several options to choose from. Parking is right outside the hotel and the car can be parked safely. The location is perfect for a trip to the Sfânta Ana crater lake or for spotting bears on the edge of the national park.

The restaurant service was great, the staff were friendly, and the food was divine! If you book by phone the price is cheaper. We stayed in the 8th-floor penthouse. The room didn’t feel clean at all, it was very “stale.” Every inch of the floor creaked and rattled. The toilet paper dispenser on the toilet wouldn’t release paper, so we had to ask for a bucket. We had to drain a lot of water to get a hot shower, and it was noticeable that if someone opened a tap below us, our water pressure dropped. There were a couple of black stains on the carpet that probably didn’t come out during cleaning, and I could have mentioned them but didn’t think it would add to the value. The wall could have been painted white to reduce the “dirty” feel. We had to take our toiletries to the floor when we showered. The wellness center is booked by the hour, but the price was charged per person regardless of time. The restaurant on the ground floor had food smells throughout the day.

The place is very clean and the food is fresh. The breakfast menu isn’t very varied.

The location is great, the breakfast was good, and the staff were sweet and managed to make things work despite language issues. The food was mediocre, not impressive, a little worn, but that might be local.
