We arrived to find no hot water for showers, and the windows were open for ventilation while the heating failed, forcing us to sleep in a cold room. The blanket was thin, the TV had no channels, and the bathroom lacked soap with a hair from the previous guest in the sink. The water issue was raised but not fixed, and the hotel manager’s response was ignored.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and quiet, the staff friendly, and the breakfast good. The pool and sauna were truly exceptional. Everything fit my short stay perfectly.

The housekeeper was super friendly; even though we were the only guests, she did everything she could to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the beds very cozy, with a great view. The building is a bit dated and has lost its former shine; we were there 10 years ago and hope it returns to its old grandeur. The building and grounds look poorly maintained, though the new owners seem to be making an effort. Unfortunately the pool area was closed for renovation, the elevator was broken, and breakfast was very sparse, which didn’t justify the price at all. The location itself feels almost abandoned.

Værtinden forsøgte at gøre det så godt. Det er under renovering Fine værelser, forholdsvis rene og nye. Det så lukket ud ved ankomst. Poolen var lukket, ingen mulighed for aftensmad, koldt vand da jeg ville skylle dagens sved af inden sengetid. Dog varmt vand om morgenen. Aftalt morgenmad kl. 8.30 det var klar kl. 9.00. Vi var de eneste på hotellet 🤔

“Alt und marode”

There’s a pool and a sauna, but the pool water feels cold. The housekeeper is a real gem, and that’s the only reason I didn’t leave right away. The building looks old, the shine of better days is long gone, it feels stale, dirty, and the price is far too high for what’s offered.
